Surgery is my only option.

In many cases, physical therapy has been shown to be as effective as surgery in treating a wide range of conditions—from rotator cuff tears and degenerative disk disease, to meniscal tears and some forms of knee osteoarthritis. Those who have recently seen a physical therapist know this to be true, with 79% believing physical therapy can provide an alternative to surgery. – APTA

Did you know?

Physical therapists are experts in developing strategies to help you better understand and manage pain. Growing research is indicating education, focusing on the reconceptualization of pain, can lead to improved function, range of motion and decreased pain. As little as one session with a physical therapist, can result in improved long-term outcomes and lower health care expenditure costs associated with surgery and chronic conditions. – APTA
